Saturday 24th October is World Polio Day, a key date in the Rotary calendar.   A very easy way to celebrate this occasion — and to raise funds and awareness — is to hold a “World’s Greatest Meal” during the lead up to 24/10.

The World’s Greatest Meal is a program that involves bringing people together (whether a few or many), having a meal together (whether a snack or banquet) and donating some of the proceeds to EndPolioNow.

The results so far of this Australian program have been spectacular.  In less than two years, WGM has raised over $US1.4 million in 86 countries, funding vaccinations for almost 7 million children!
