UPDATE ON PP PHIL

Just quick update on PP Phil.

Last Tuesday Phil was admitted to hospital after several day of being unable to keep anything "down". Typical ER solution, go home take plenty of fluids and "she'll be right mate". But it wasn't and that night, back to hospital (midnight that is). By this time it is about 9 days since Phil was able to keep anything down and he was not looking good either. After much insistence by Jan, a CT scan was completed only to determine Phil had a bowl blockage.

Long story short is that although threatened with possible surgery to relieve the blockage, with appropriate treatment it began to slowly clear. PP Phil is now home and on his second light meal. He looks like death warmed over, but he is improving. He is able to have visitors, and a short visit will cheer him up, or a phone call would be great.
