Biographic Details:  Ian Faulks is a past Committee Director with the New South Wales Legislature, primarily for the STAYSAFE Committee.  His policy advice and program development work has spanned the globe, including Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Samoa, Germany, Sweden, the United States (Federal government and US States - Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania).  In Australia, Ian developed the road safety strategy for Norfolk Island, served as the Northern Territory Road Safety Expert, and has provided advice to Austroads (the Australian road agencies research arm), Australian state and territory government agencies, and local government.  Ian also acts as a human factors and behavioural analysis expert on road transport matters, including the prosecution of persons for criminal offences relating to driving but also to assist in crash and incident investigations.
